Southern Oregon University

Southern Oregon University is a university in Ashland, Oregon. Southern Oregon University is known for its Shakespearean Studies in theatre arts program. It is also the headquarters for Jefferson Public Radio.

Bachelors and master's programs are offered through the School of Arts and Letters, the School of Business, the School of Sciences, and the Social Science, Ed, Health & Phys Ed consolidated school.

The school's sports teams are called the Raiders. They participate in the NAIA and in the Cascade Conference; for football, SOU is an NAIA independent.

SOU is home to public access Rogue Valley Television.
